Dong is from Jilin City in the northeast of China. He has two (TWO!) Bachelor's degrees in Chemistry (from Jilin University and the University of Groningen) but decided to pursue a PhD in biology. He loves sparkling water and his favorites are SPA from Belgium and ACQUA MORELLI from Italy.
